The Books of Ye is a conceptual NFT web experience depicting the five Books of Moses, in which each instance of God is replaced with Ye (Kanye West). Owners of a Book enjoy access to a private viewing room where they can access their manuscript, accompanied by a foreword elaborating on the concept, and exquisite illustrations depicting key scenes from the Books.
The work aimed to push Kanye West's NFT conceptual experience inside private Viewing Rooms where the owner can enjoy his collectible piece. Through WebGL and Three.js, we were be able to create a 3D web scene faithful to the render, allowing also to create animated shaders to navigate the pages of the book and manuscripts alongside bloom and DOF effects. Everything was hosted in Netlify, back-end in Contentful and data encryption in Firebase.
